Daventry Business Partnership
Daventry Business Partnership exists to support and promote business in the Daventry area.
Initially established in 2004 as a partnership of businesses and agencies looking to improve the business environment within Daventry town centre the organisation has since grown and developed. Registered as a company in 2005 it went on to promote the idea of a Business Improvement District for the town centre which was agreed following a ballot of the businesses that would be responsible for the levy if it were to be supported. The ballot was supported with over 70% of businesses voting in favour of the BID (both by number and rateable value).
The Business Partnership now covers an area extending to eight miles radius of the town centre, and business interests still remain as its focus. In support of business the Partnership provides a number of services and promotes the area to new investors, visiting public and the local community.
